AVIONS-1001 A Boeing 727 operating for the South Sudan Air force. Former EY-724 and 5Y-GIG. Some people on X reported this aircraft as being destroyed by the Sudan Armed forces in May 2025. However that aircraft was B737 5Y-CKD.
N726CK. A former Kalitta Charters Boeing 727 flew May 25 2025 Oscoda-Gander-Santa Maria-Dakar in basic Kalitta colours with no titles.. The aircraft was stored at Oscoda. An African company purchased three B727. One will be for spares, the other two for cargo.
In October the aircraft might have been destroyed by drones while flying to an airport in Sudan.
N729CK was flown to N’Djamena in Chad end of June 2025 for a new, yet unknown, operator. This aircraft is supposed to fly. N726CK is for spares. The aircraft continued to Rand, South Africa for maintenance. Last seen here in December 12 2025 awaiting refurbishment of the number 2 engine. (source and photo)
EX-27015 3C Cargo (or Blue Jet Airway Cage LLC) cn 21459(seen recently at Nairobi )registered in July 2024 in EY-register). Is former N86245 of Asia Pacific Airlines. This aircraft flew Kingman to Opa Locka. Then January 4 2023 to Barbados on ferry to Kenya. Probably was stored here since 2023.
