Former Turkish registered Airbus A310 Appears to Join Iranian Airline Fleet

An aircraft identifying itself as 7Q-YBC and using the hex code 05808E operated a flight from Istanbul Airport to Muscat on 19 June. According to Flightradar24 data, the aircraft’s track disappeared while it was flying over Iran.

Initially, Flightradar24 identified the aircraft as an Ilyushin Il-76 and displayed the registration 7Q-ILY. However, information published by Skyliner Aviation indicated that the aircraft was not an Il-76 but an Airbus A310. It appears that the aircraft type A310 had been filed in the flight plan.

Now the previous id remains a mystery. Some say it is not construction number 562 and also not 646.

The aircraft is, according Skyliner-aviation, believed to be the former TC-LER (cn 646) , an Airbus A310-300F that previously operated for ULS Airlines Cargo in Turkey. The aircraft had been placed in storage before apparently being transferred to its new operator. The final flight was at October 2, 2025 from Stockholm to Istanbul (IST).

Another person says it is not former TC-SGB.

The flight may indicate that the aircraft has joined the fleet of an Iranian airline, although further confirmation has yet to emerge.
